People Advisor (Employee Relations)

This role has been created to provide additional resource in response to a temporary increase in workload and service demand. The appointment is for a 12 month fixed-term period while the business assesses and implements longer-term improvements to systems, processes and operating models. The role is therefore linked to a temporary business need and there is no expectation or guarantee of ongoing employment beyond the fixed-term contract.

Please note: This is a 12-month fixed-term contract (FTC), working Monday to Friday, 12pm–7pm, to cover our busiest periods.

As People Advisor ERA, you will…

• Set up and manage ER cases through our Case Management System with accurate details and timely updates.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls and emails, ensuring clear communication with managers and wider stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships across the business to stay informed and support operational needs.
• Support with letters, day‑to‑day ER administration, and TUPE‑related tasks.
• Act as a point of escalation for more complex queries.

What you’ll bring…

• Knowledge of HR people practices, including payroll and compliance.
• Experience working with HR systems such as Workday HCM.
• Understanding of GDPR requirements.
• Strong data management and Excel skills.
• Ability to prioritise, manage your own workload, and take ownership of tasks.
