Ediphi •

Product Specialist

Remote Remote U.S., United States Full-time 5+ yrs

About Us

Ediphi offers the most comprehensive cloud-based estimating and preconstruction solution on the market. Our goal is to reduce the time spent in preconstruction, enabling projects to break ground more quickly and estimators to feel more confident in their work.

We started when Michael Navarro, a former estimator at Suffolk, knew there was a better way than relying on spreadsheets. He began creating a solution built by estimators, for estimators. He teamed up with Dustin DeVan, founder of BuildingConnected (acquired by Autodesk for $275 million), to launch Ediphi in 2023. With a $12M Series A round led by Norwest Venture Partners and with ongoing participation from Suffolk Technologies, Ediphi continues to grow as a SaaS offering for General Contractors around the country.

About This Role

As a Product Specialist, you'll help make it happen. You'll work directly with customers to get them up and running, owning their implementation from kickoff through adoption and partnering closely with a Customer Success Manager along the way.

You'll work side by side with estimating teams to understand how they price work today, help bring those workflows into Ediphi, and build confidence in a new way of estimating. Estimators from the top GCs across the country will look to you as a trusted partner, not only during implementation but as they continue to grow and get more value from Ediphi.

Successful implementations are a major factor in how customers adopt and grow with Ediphi. When teams trust the platform and see value in their daily work, it creates opportunities to bring on additional users. As a Product Specialist, you'll be one of Ediphi's primary faces throughout implementation, building relationships and influencing our customers' long-term success.

Working directly with our customers also gives you deep insight into what users think of new features and product releases, as well as their feature requests. You'll collaborate with our Product and Makers teams to test new functionality, share customer feedback, and help shape features that solve real estimating challenges.

What You'll Do:

  • Apply your estimating experience across GCs nationwide, helping teams improve how they estimate.

  • Learn how each customer estimates today and translate it into Ediphi, from how they structure an estimate to how they report it.

  • Train estimators from the basics through advanced workflows, on-site and remote.

  • Run timelines, set expectations, and keep customers moving when change gets uncomfortable.

  • Work alongside a dedicated Customer Success Manager who handles contracts and renewals, so your time goes to the people actually estimating.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Data, and Support to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

  • Work directly with the people building the software, influencing product improvements based on your experience.

  • Travel to customer sites for implementations, training, and industry events (approximately 30%).

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years in estimating or preconstruction at a GC or specialty contractor.

  • You've defended a number in a room, and you know where estimates go wrong.

  • You can sit with an estimator who’s happy with their spreadsheet and show them a workflow that makes them say, “Wait, Ediphi can do that?”

  • You follow through. If you say it'll be ready Friday, it's ready Friday.

  • You're comfortable working remotely and owning your own calendar.

  • You'd rather say "let me find out" than guess.

  • Experience training people or rolling out software is a plus. A software background isn't required. We can teach you the product. We can't teach estimating.

Why Take on This Role?

  • Your estimating experience becomes the most valuable thing in the room, working with GCs across the country instead of just one.

  • You’ll see firsthand how precon teams across the industry actually work, and you’ll build relationships with precon leaders at some of the biggest builders in the country.

  • The insights you gain from our customers will allow you to give feedback to the team and influence future product releases.

  • Opportunity for real impact. Help shape the culture, direction, and success of a fast-moving startup.

  • Supportive leadership team. Work with experienced leaders who prioritize your growth and well-being.

  • Competitive compensation, equity, and growth potential. Be part of something big, where your contributions have an outsized impact, both professionally and financially.

  • Change an industry while improving how people work. Don’t take our word for it, check out what our customers say about Ediphi.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and equity

  • Unlimited PTO (and we actually encourage you to use it)

  • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance

  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave

  • A phenomenal, remote-first team that deeply cares about creating great products
