Production Operator

Location: Worcester, MA area (onsite)

Pay: $18–$35/hr

Type: Full time · 2nd shift (3rd shift possible)

A plastics materials manufacturer in the Worcester area needs experienced operators for its blending and extrusion lines. The plant runs continuously, and openings are on second shift with some third-shift need. Recipe-based production experience is a must.

What you'll do

• Set up and run blending and extrusion lines by the plant's safety and operating procedures

• Weigh ingredients to recipe and confirm the right materials are at your station

• Monitor equipment, troubleshoot basic process problems and escalate when needed

• Check that finished material meets quality specs and pull lab samples

• Complete system transactions and production logs

• Clean machines, keep your area tidy, wear PPE and follow ISO and EHS rules

What you bring

• 1+ year in blending, mixing, extrusion, or plastics or chemical production

• Machine setup and basic troubleshooting experience

• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills for production records

• Able to lift 55 lbs regularly; comfortable in a dusty chemical environment

• Reliable transportation and open to 2nd or 3rd shift

• High school diploma or GED
