Senior Engineer - Electrical

Senior Engineer - Electrical with strong experience in infrastructure projects, specializing in pump stations, lifting stations, drainage systems, and associated electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage electrical works for pump stations, lifting stations, drainage facilities, and infrastructure projects.
• Oversee the installation of electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, MCCs, control panels, power distribution systems, lighting, and earthing systems.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, ITPs, RFIs, and other technical submissions related to electrical works.
• Coordinate electrical activities with civil, mechanical, instrumentation, and SCADA disciplines.
• Supervise testing, commissioning, energization, performance testing, and final acceptance of electrical systems.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, designers, and stakeholders to resolve technical and construction issues.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, safety standards, and applicable codes.
• Support project handover and closeout activities, including O&M manuals, as-built drawings, testing records, and asset documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in electrical infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience in pump stations, lifting stations, and drainage infrastructure projects.
• Experience with switchgear, transformers, MCCs, control panels, power distribution systems, lighting, earthing, and associated electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and system integration.
• Experience working with infrastructure contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of QA/QC, HSE requirements, electrical standards, technical documentation, and construction procedures.
• Familiarity with SCADA, instrumentation, and control systems is preferred.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE/GCC infrastructure experience is preferred.
