Senior Staff Engineer, SAP-DEVELOPMENT-BTP

We are seeking an experienced SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) Consultant to design, build, and operate integrations between SAP and non SAP systems using SAP Integration Suite. You will develop iFlows, mappings, adapters, and monitoring solutions to ensure secure, reliable data exchange across the landscape.
Must have Skills : English (Strong), SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) (Expert), SAP Integration Suite (fka SCPI), SAP PI/PO (Strong)
Experience: 7 - 12 years
Key responsibilities :
- Solution design & architecture.
- Participate in workshops to capture integration requirements and propose target integration architecture. Development & configuration.
- Build and configure iFlows, message mappings, content modifiers, and process steps.
- Implement complex mappings and transformations using Groovy, XSLT and built in mapping tools.
- Configure adapters (S/4HANA/OData, SOAP, REST, IDoc, RFC, SFTP, JMS, etc.).
- Implement secure authentication: certificates, OAuth2, Basic Auth, and client SSL.
- Integrate SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, other SAP partner apps and third party SaaS/apps.
- Test, deploy & operate - Support SIT, UAT and cutover activities with clear deployment/run books.
- Implement logging, alerting, retry & exception handling strategies.
- Use Integration Suite monitoring tools and set up dashboards/alerts for production support.
- Governance & documentation: Create technical specifications, interface contracts, and runbooks.
- Support & continuous improvement - Provide L2/L3 production support, RCA and permanent fixes.
- Propose performance optimizations, security hardening and reusable assets/components.
Required skills & experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or equivalent.
- 5+ years' total experience in PI/PO and integration; 3+ years specifically with SAP Integration Suite / CPI.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with integration monitoring tools.
- Good communication skills and experience working with functional teams.
