About the Job

We're looking for a driven and impactful Solutions Architect (m/f/d) to bridge our product team and our clients, and to make sure what we sell is something we can build and deliver.

Alongside our client work, we are building a new internal product that brings together company data to recommend decisions and carry out the resulting actions.

As our Solutions Architect, you take over a large part of those technical conversations at the front of the sales funnel. You work alongside our partners and managing directors, answer the deep technical questions clients ask, and shape solutions that fit both the client's reality and what our product can do. Just as important, you bring what you learn back to the product - so your home will be the Technology team.

In this role, you'll:

• Lead the technical side of early client conversations, including the discovery calls that come before a value discovery workshop
• Join and co-run client workshops to understand processes, data sources and pain points, and to surface knowledge that isn't written down anywhere
• Answer deep technical questions from client teams on architecture, data integration, security and on-premise setups
• Shape solution proposals that map a client's use case onto what the product already offers and what would need to be built on top
• Work closely with our partners and managing directors, so commercial and technical sides of a deal tell the same story
• Translate what you hear from clients into clear implications for the product, and feed them back to the product and engineering team
• Help shape the roadmap by spotting patterns across clients and industries that belong in the core product
• Hand over smoothly to the engineers who deliver the solution, so nothing gets lost between sale and delivery

Your Profile

• Several years of experience in a client-facing technical role, such as Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant or Forward Deployed Engineer
• A hands-on technical background (software engineering, data engineering or architecture), deep enough to discuss system design, data integration and security with a client's engineers
• Practical experience with AI/LLM systems or data platforms, and a clear sense of what they can and can't do in a real company
• Experience in B2B sales cycles: you are comfortable in discovery calls, workshops and solution presentations, without turning every conversation into a pitch
• The ability to explain technical concepts to a CTO, a business owner and an operations team in the same meeting
• Strong structuring skills: you turn a messy client conversation into a clear problem statement and a solution outline
• Comfort with ambiguity: the product is evolving fast, and you help shape it rather than wait for a finished feature list
• High agency and a get-things-done mindset, together with being a team player who shares credit and collaborates across disciplines
• Fluent German and English, as you will work with German-speaking clients, including Mittelstand and private equity-backed companies
• Willingness to travel to client sites for workshops
