Manager, Software Engineering
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Manager, Engineering Development leads and coordinates one or more product development teams supporting a diverse SaaS platform built primarily on Java and .NET technologies.
This role sits at the intersection of engineering execution and leadership, providing oversight, alignment, and coordination across the software development lifecycle. The Development Manager is responsible for supporting delivery excellence, resource and capacity planning, quality assurance, and effective execution across development teams.
The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of technical knowledge, people leadership, and operational discipline, with the ability to balance day-to-day execution with broader business and product priorities.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead one or more product development teams through all phases of the software development lifecycle, including technical design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing delivery.
- Manage development work and priorities in Jira and coordinate requirements, timelines, and dependencies with Product Management.
- Drive resource and schedule alignment across development teams to identify capacity needs, address gaps or conflicts, and optimize the use of available talent and resources.
