Junior Originator (Renewable Energy)
Your Role in Our Story:
We are seeking candidate to grow ACT’s renewable energy asset portfolio across APAC. The primary focus of the role is to identify and engage renewable energy asset owners, onboard their facilities for registration with relevant renewable energy certificate (REC) registries through ACT, and propose commercial arrangements for ACT to manage and optimise the RECs generated by these assets.
The role requires a combination of business development, relationship management, commercial negotiation, and project coordination. The successful candidate will actively originate new opportunities through market mapping, cold outreach, industry networks, and direct engagement with renewable energy asset owners and developers.
Key Responsibilities
Renewable Asset Origination & Business Development
- Identify, prospect, and engage renewable energy asset owners, project developers, power generation companies, utilities, and other relevant stakeholders across APAC to build a strong pipeline of renewable assets.
- Conduct proactive business development activities, including cold calling, direct outreach, industry networking, client meetings, and presentations to renewable energy facility owners.
