Job Overview
As an Engineering Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting R&D projects and collaborating with cross-functional portfolio teams. You'll be involved in the end-to-end development of hardware prototypes, contributing to the design and assembly of PCB, mechanical components, and software scripts. Your work will include conducting tests and experiments that drive development toward manufacturing readiness, while maintaining thorough documentation and process records to track test data and results. Essential Functions
- Solder PCBs with Surface-Mounted Components (SMCs)
- Solder wire harnesses and making cables based on minimal documentation
- Modify circuit boards using wire jumpers and PCB trace modifications
- Assist in the construction of testing platforms and event setups
- Review and interpret PCB layouts for accurate implementation
- Help design and model components using CAD software, including SolidWorks, for engineering applications.
