Strategic Operational Planner (Military Operations Planning)

Position Summary:
ANSER is seeking a Strategic Operational Planner. In this role you will provide technical leadership and direction to either INDOPACOM headquarters, or a component staff in the development, revision, and review of Operational Plans (OPLANS), Contingency Plans (CONPLANS), and Campaign Plans.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Assist staff planners in the development of strategic and operational concepts for new OPLANs/CONPLANs and possible branch plans to existing OPLANS/CONPLANs.
- Make recommendations, where appropriate, to change planning procedures or ways of conducting planning to the staff and subordinate command staffs.
- Support higher, adjacent and supporting headquarters planning ensuring proper employment of forces
