Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in Central New York, major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide OR and inpatient support to AO Fox Memorial Hospital affiliate and outpatient clinics in Oneonta as well as the Delhi, Sidney and Norwich locations.   

• Salary Range: $127,803 - $144,035
• Sign-on Bonus: up to $50,000
• Location: Oneonta, NY, Delhi, NY, Sidney NY, and Norwich NY

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Join an established General Surgery team of 2 Surgeons and 2 Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants
• Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region
• Responsibilities include working in outpatient clinics as well as OR first assist and inpatient at affiliate AO Fox Memorial Hospital. 
• Monday-Friday coverage – includes rotating first call responsibilities for AO Fox Hospital inpatient and ED services
• Rotating weekend call – 4 hour shirt Saturday & Sunday – no overnight call required
• Previous surgical experience preferred
