Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in Central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, is seeking a full-time PMHNP's in the Department of Psychiatry.

• Salary Range: $130,000 - $145,000
• Sign-on Bonus: up to $50,000
• Location: Cooperstown, NY

Job Description & Responsibilities

• The Department of Psychiatry includes the Division of Inpatient Psychiatry (14 bed acute Inpatient Psychiatry unit expanding to 20 beds by the end of 2026, consults to Med-Surg inpatients at several affiliate hospitals, and consults to the Emergency Departments), and the Division of Outpatient Psychiatry (OMH-licensed clinic in Cooperstown NY) with satellites throughout the Bassett Network and extensive Tele psychiatry services
• A diverse psychiatric team of physicians and PMHNP’s.
• Provide a full range of primary mental health services to our adult patient population with a focus on the promotion of optimal mental health,
• Provides psychiatric consultation, diagnostic and treatment services to the identified patient population, including medication management and crisis intervention services
• Maintain accurate documentation
