GSOC Operator

Position overview   We are looking for a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator to be embedded at a Global Technology & Entertainment company based in Los Angeles, CA. As a GSOC Operator you will be responsible for providing essential service support for all safety, security, and crises impacting Client's facilities, productions, special events, travelers, and personnel.   This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage; a 401(k) with a 3.5% company match; generous paid time off; a $100/month technology stipend; and additional employee benefits.   Shift Schedule: Friday through Tuesday (6am - 2:30pm)   Essential Job Functions - Monitor all security, communications, and fire/life safety systems within the designated region(s) via the provided monitoring systems - Proactively monitor all surveillance cameras and CCTV remote viewer programs - Monitor and respond to all security/life safety system alarms - Answer and respond to events and situations received over regular and emergency phones and intercoms: speak clearly, give direction, and provide guidance to employees and security staff during emergencies - Handle (without delay) complaints and unusual/critical event information by escalating to pre-identified contacts - Accurately document routine and unusual events occurring on or near the facilities (accomplished via shift reports, pass-down logs, incident reports, incident reports log, or other estab
