About the Role
Brightfield is seeking a strategic, entrepreneurial Chief Growth Officer to join the Company’s leadership team and help successfully scale the enterprise to $100M+ ARR over the next 24 months.
The CGO will own the Company’s new business revenue engine, including revenue attainment, forecasting, pipeline and funnel management, sales execution, pricing, sales compensation, and the operating systems required to scale a high-performing growth organization. This is a hands-on executive role for a player-coach who can operate at both the strategic and tactical levels, bringing rigor, accountability, and continuous improvement to the Company’s path to growth.
The CGO will serve as a thought leader and trusted partner to the CEO and executive team, translating growth strategy into clear operating plans, measurable outcomes, and disciplined execution across the sales organization.
What You’ll Do
- Join the Company’s leadership team in its mission to successfully scale the enterprise to $100M+ ARR over the next 24 months.
- Own the Company’s new business revenue target, including revenue attainment, forecasting, pipeline coverage, funnel management, and overall sales performance.
- Own the EMEA growth strategy and execution, building the organization, operating model, and commercial infrastructure required to scale the region.
- Develop and manage the Partner & Channel strategy, including identifying strategic opportunities and building a scalable partner-driven revenue motion.
- Own the end-to-end sales operating system, including pipeline management, forecasting methodology, CRM discipline, sales reporting, territory and quota planning, and sales performance analytics.
- Establish the systems, processes, and operating cadence necessary to create a predictable, scalable, and data-driven revenue engine.
- Own pricing strategy and commercial discipline, balancing market positioning, customer value, deal economics, and revenue objectives.
- Own sales compensation strategy and plan design in partnership with Finance and People, ensuring compensation structures align incentives with Company growth objectives.
- Own the Sales/Growth budget, including headcount planning, commissions, travel and entertainment, technology, and other operating expenses.
- Drive disciplined inspection of the funnel and book of business, identifying risks, opportunities, and actions required to improve conversion, velocity, and attainment.
- Partner closely with the CCO on the intersection of new business and customer expansion, ensuring a coordinated approach to account strategy and overall revenue growth.
- Serve as a hands-on executive in critical customer and commercial opportunities, including strategic deals, negotiations, pricing decisions, and executive relationships.
- Drive constant improvement and innovation across the growth organization, particularly within Sales and Sales Operations.
What You Bring
- 10+ years of progressive sales and revenue leadership experience, including significant experience scaling a SaaS, AI, analytics, or technology business serving enterprise customers.
- Demonstrated success owning and exceeding significant new business revenue targets and building predictable, repeatable sales organizations.
- Experience scaling a company through a period of rapid growth, ideally from approximately $20M–$30M ARR toward $100M+ ARR.
- Deep experience selling to large enterprise organizations, with a strong understanding of complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and executive-level buyers.
- Strong operational and analytical rigor, with demonstrated expertise in forecasting, funnel management, pipeline inspection, CRM discipline, and sales operations.
- Experience developing pricing strategy and commercial structures for complex technology and/or data products.
- Experience building or scaling EMEA and/or international revenue organizations.
- Experience developing strategic Partner & Channel programs that contribute meaningfully to revenue growth.
- Superior communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence customers, employees, and internal stakeholders.
- Superior strategic thinking and tactical execution, with the ability to move seamlessly between long-term growth strategy and hands-on execution.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- An attitude of constant improvement and innovation, with a strong bias toward data, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
- Familiarity with AI and LLM technologies and an understanding of the evolving technology, analytics, and AI-enabled enterprise landscape.
