Here at CGS, we offer an environment in which our employees feel supported, and we encourage professional growth through various learning opportunities.   Job Description Oversees USAO’s practice with regard to 28 USC §2255 (habeas corpus) matters including: receiving and docketing new motions, calendaring upcoming due dates, contacting appropriate AUSA/Support Staff regarding locating files necessary to drafting responses; preparing a draft response for review by appropriate AUSA; and attending to timely filing of responses. Also assists AUSAs with large-scale projects necessitated by new judicial precedent or federal legislation. Analyzes statutes, legislative intent, judicial precedents, agency rules and regulations, and law review articles as they relate to assigned cases
