Live Safety Broadcaster
Why this role exists
Citizen protects the world by getting real, verified safety information to people the moment it matters. Our Mission Control team is the human engine behind that: monitoring incidents across the country, verifying what's real, and deciding what millions of people need to know right now.
We're now doing something no safety company has done: putting Mission Control on air. When a major incident unfolds, our broadcasters don't just push an alert. They go live on video, narrating events in real time to hundreds or thousands of Citizen users tuned in. Our first live broadcasts (a citywide manhunt that drew roughly a million viewers and became the subject of a documentary) proved the model. This role scales it.
You are the face and voice of Citizen in the moments people care about most. Half operator, half broadcaster, fully committed to the mission.
