Design Engineer
About the Role
This is a Design Engineer role on a small, technical team building tools that make AI agent development, evaluation, and training understandable and actionable. You will own the full arc from concept to shipped product, sitting at the intersection of product design and front-end engineering for a platform used by researchers and practitioners in reinforcement learning.
What You'll Do
Design and build interfaces across the platform and marketplace, from early concepts through to shipped product.
Make agent runs, evaluation results, reward signals, and quality feedback clear and actionable for users.
Partner with research and engineering teams to translate complex RL and evaluation workflows into usable tools.
Talk with users, observe where they struggle, and use those insights to drive product improvements.
Develop thoughtful interaction patterns while maintaining a high bar for usability, visual quality, and implementation.
Ship interfaces that improve through real use and feedback, keeping technically dense workflows clear without hiding important details.
