Founding Growth
About the Role
Build and own the top-of-funnel growth engine for a startup-focused legal technology company. Reporting to the CEO, you will drive pipeline through outbound, organic, and earned channels, and help establish the growth function as the company scales.
What You'll Do
Own pipeline generation and define and refine the ideal customer profile.
Plan and run multichannel outbound campaigns using email, LinkedIn, warm introductions, and partner networks.
Create founder-focused content and use customer stories to support organic and earned growth.
Develop referral relationships with investors, accelerators, and other organizations serving startups.
Plan community events and represent the company at relevant industry gatherings.
Build outbound data and automation workflows, instrument the funnel, and ship growth experiments.
Guide the company voice across platforms and, as the function grows, hire early growth team members.
What We're Looking For
Two to six years of experience in growth marketing or a growth lead role, ideally at an early-stage startup.
Hands-on experience generating pipeline across outbound, organic, and earned channels.
Familiarity with CRM, data enrichment, sequencing, and modern go-to-market tools.
Strong writing skills and fluency with scripting or no-code tools for building automations.
Experience representing a brand with founders in person, on stage, or on camera, and a network or audience among startup operators.
Background as a founder, founding team member, or growth operator is a plus.
Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary range: $125,000 to $175,000. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
Hybrid role based in San Francisco, California, United States.
