Founding Product Engineer
About the Role
Join an early-stage energy technology team building an enterprise platform for energy procurement and cost optimization. You will work closely with customers and company leadership to turn complex market dynamics and data into practical, scalable product features.
What You'll Do
Own product features from discovery and design through implementation and deployment.
Collaborate with customers to translate product goals into clear requirements and iterative solutions.
Build performant backend services for data-intensive applications.
Create intuitive frontend interfaces for complex decision-support workflows.
Develop time-series forecasts for power consumption and renewable generation.
Build linear optimization algorithms to help reduce energy costs.
Help shape the product's technology stack, including PostgreSQL, TypeScript, React, and Python.
What We're Looking For
At least 2 years of software engineering experience delivering scalable web applications in an early-stage startup environment.
