Staff Accountant - Inventory

Role and Responsibilities:

The Staff Accountant, Inventory will sit in the Finance function, reporting to the Inventory Accounting Manager. This is a hands-on role: you'll handle the day-to-day inventory and COGS accounting, reconciliations and cycle counts with support from the Inventory Accounting Manager as you grow. You'll work closely with the Inventory Accounting Manager to keep the monthly close accurate and on schedule, and you’ll work closely with Supply Chain partners to keep inventory data clean.

Financial Reporting and Month-End Close

• Prepare reconciliations and variance analyses for inventory and COGS as part of the monthly close.
• Follow documented close procedures and flag opportunities to tighten them as you learn the process.

Inventory, COGS, and Supply Chain Accounting

• Support day-to-day inventory accounting across raw materials and finished goods, working closely with the Inventory Accounting Manager.
