Finance Manager

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the R&D Function day-to-day financial operations, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. The role will partner closely with the R&D leaders to provide actionable financial insights, improve financial discipline, and support strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will combine strong accounting fundamentals with commercial and analytical capabilities and will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Own the annual planning cycle for the function end to end, including the calendar, templates, cost definitions, and the consolidated plan submitted to the Head of Finance and Strategy.

• Build the scenario and sensitivity models that inform investment, headcount, and procurement decisions, and frame the trade-offs for the leaders who decide.

• Challenge the business assumptions behind functional plans with R&D and Product leaders, and quantify the financial consequences of the alternatives.

• Judge which variances matter, decide how they are investigated, and take the resulting recommendations to functional leadership.
