Account Executive
Account Executive | NL market
At Deeploy, we help organisations roll out AI they can trust. Regulated enterprises are under pressure to prove control over their AI use, and most don't yet have the tooling or the internal story to do it. You'll own that conversation end to end, from first outreach to signed contract, joining our commercial team where you'll help shape how we sell AI governance to buyers who've never bought it before.
This is not a seat where you just run a playbook someone else wrote. You're encouraged (and expected) try new approaches, test and iterate different ways of working, and help us continue to improve our GTM approach.
At an AI governance company, the sales conversation is technical, regulatory and commercial all at once. You'll report to the CEO and work closely with Marketing and the wider team, who stay actively involved in deals. You drive the pipeline day to day, but you're not left to carry it alone.
Why Deeploy?
AI is being rolled out everywhere, but most organisations have little control. Deeploy exists to change that. We build the technical foundation that makes AI responsible, helping companies detect, understand and prevent the harms caused by misaligned AI systems before they impact the real world.
We're an AI-native team. That means we don't just sell for AI, we aim to be a frontrunner in how we work ourselves. We're constantly rethinking how we operate, and we expect everyone on the team to be part of that evolution.
What you will do
Pipeline and deal ownership
Own the full cycle for enterprise deals, from qualification through demo, procurement and negotiation to close. You are used to finding your own ways in, through events, outbound or marketing, and are not afraid to chase deals.Work with regulated companies, such as pharma and financial services, where the GRC (governance, risk and compliance) function is often the entry point.
Navigate and drive complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals involving risk, compliance, legal, IT, and business sponsors.
Marketing and pipeline generation
Work closely with Marketing on messaging, campaigns and events to generate qualified pipeline.
Feed field insights back into marketing positioning, so our campaigns reflect what buyers actually respond to.
Represent Deeploy at events and roundtables aimed at GRC and AI governance audiences. Be on stage and advocate of our company once you're ready. That is, by week 2 ;)
Team and process
Help shape the commercial function as we continue to build it out: refine how we collaborate as a team, as well as qualify, forecast and run deals as the team grows.
Contribute to onboarding and coaching as the team grows.
Own the activities we define together: help drafting materials, organise events, streamline or automate our processes, or build agents to assist us in our work.
Market and product feedback
Bring a point of view on how regulated buyers evaluate AI governance tools, and where Deeploy fits against alternatives.
Feed deal learnings into the roadmap and into how we position against competing approaches.
Who we're looking for
This role sits at an intersection: commercially sharp enough to run a complex enterprise cycle, technically credible enough to hold a conversation with an IT, risk, or compliance lead, and comfortable building and refining processes in a startup environment where change is a given.
Passion for AI Governance: Experience with, or a genuine interest in, GRC, Data and AI, so you can hold a credible conversation with risk and compliance buyers around AI Governance, with familiarity with the EU AI Act or adjacent regulation.
Complex deals: An existing network in the Netherlands, working with regulated industries like life science, pharma, banks or insurers, and experience selling into enterprise accounts with long, multi-stakeholder cycles.
Claiming ownership: Comfortable owning a full cycle with founders actively involved, not handed a closed process to execute. Not afraid of making your hands dirty to build pipeline, chase deals, organize and attend events and grow network.
Founder-mode: Ready to step into a startup, trading structure and certainty for ownership and pace. You're entrepreneurial, take ownership and focus on results. Preferably, you have been a founder yourself, or held an early commercial role at a startup.
Working proficiency in English, Dutch is a plus.
What this role is, and what it is not
It is a builder role. You shape how we sell, you don't just execute a playbook.
It is broad, with deal ownership first, and commercial process a close second.
It is not a lead-execution seat where Marketing hands you a queue. You work with Marketing, not downstream of it. We're a small team, and everyone is contributing.
It is not a role where you carry the number alone. Founders stay close to deals and hold end responsibility for the commercial function.
It involves team effort. You work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Partnership teams, and collaborate with the Product and the wider team, including the founders.

Collaborative culture: be part of a team that values openness, inclusivity and collaboration. At Deeploy, every voice matters, and diverse perspectives drive our work.
Growth opportunities: help continue to build the sales function and grow with it, in a company set on changing how AI is governed.
