The Opportunity

Designer Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to join our project delivery team in Germany.

This is a senior, site-based construction role with responsibility for the safe and successful delivery of complex mechanical building services installations on a major project.

You will take ownership of mechanical construction activities from installation through commissioning and handover, coordinating site teams, subcontractors, materials, programme, quality and health & safety.

This opportunity would particularly suit a Mechanical Construction Manager with experience delivering large-scale M&E, mission critical, pharmaceutical, healthcare or cleanroom projects.

What You'll Be Doing

As Mechanical Construction Manager, you will:

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of mechanical construction activities on site.
• Manage mechanical supervisors, direct labour and specialist subcontractors.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Develop and manage short-term construction programmes and look-ahead plans.
