Position Overview
This Electrical Test Technician role supports Tech Platform Initiatives, working hands-on with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) test systems. The technician will build, assemble, and maintain wiring harnesses and test benches used to validate next-generation products, working closely with engineers and other technicians in a collaborative, safety-focused lab environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive harness build work orders from the engineering team and review them to clarify requirements.
- Cut, crimp, and assemble wiring to build harnesses based on engineering specifications.
- Assemble completed harnesses into HiL test benches.
- Use power tools to build test panels as needed to support bench assembly.
- Collaborate with the engineering team and lead technician throughout the harness build and bench assembly process.
