Position Description 

EIP is seeking an Energy Engineer Consultant in Rochester to support engineering assessments and project development for NYSEG EMP work. The engineer will examine building and equipment performance, identify practical energy efficiency opportunities, develop defensible savings estimates, and prepare clear technical recommendations for customers and program teams. 

This role combines on-site assessment with analysis and follow-through. The Energy Engineer Consultant will collect facility and utility data, evaluate existing systems and operating practices, apply applicable program methods and technical reference materials, and work with customers and contractors to move viable improvements toward implementation.
