What you'll do

  • Guide Product Developers and Technical Project Leaders from project inception to launch, ensuring regulatory compliance for innovative products and claims.
  • Shape and implement Flora Food Group’s marketing claims strategy and risk management plans.
  • Anticipate, identify, and manage regulatory changes across Europe, driving their implementation within the business.
  • Train and support cross-functional teams including R&D, Marketing, and Sales on regulatory frameworks such as product and labelling compliance, nutrition and health claims, and regulatory processes.
  • Liaise with Legal, Quality, Corporate Affairs, and Marketing teams to address regulatory and compliance questions from authorities and customers.

Performance
You will own regulatory leadership across Europe, ensuring compliance that enables innovation and market success. You will translate regulatory requirements into clear, pragmatic guidance for the business, balancing compliance, innovation, creativity, and speed to market, while driving continuous improvement of regulatory processes, tools, and ways of working.
Success will be measured through effective business partnering, timely project support, compliant product delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will report to the Regulatory Affairs Manager for Developed Markets (Europe) and work closely with diverse teams across R&D, Marketing, Legal, Quality, and Corporate Affairs.
Your role demands responsible leadership, balancing regulatory compliance with business needs to build sustainable, long-term solutions.
You will foster collaboration and accountability, ensuring Flora Food Group’s products meet the highest standards for consumers and communities.

You understand the importance of taste, nutrition, functionality, and reliability in every product we develop.
Your passion for food innovation drives you to support creative solutions that meet regulatory demands without compromising quality or consumer trust.

About you
You bring strong experience in European food regulations within an FMCG environment, with a proven ability to influence and guide cross-functional teams.
You have a Master’s Degree or higher in Food Technology, Quality, Chemistry, or a related field, combined with practical experience in regulatory affairs.
You are proactive, able to manage time-sensitive priorities, and skilled at translating complex regulatory requirements into clear, pragmatic guidance.
Fluency in English is essential, and additional languages are a plus.
You are genuinely interested in food culture and curious about how consumer behaviour and future food trends shape innovation.
You understand that strong brands are built by anticipating what’s next in taste, nutrition and functionality, and by translating insight into meaningful consumer experiences.
