Job Description

About the Role:

At Gaia Family, we're building modern fertility coverage that actually works, for patients and for employers. We partner with companies to offer IVF and egg freezing as a structured, outcomes-aligned benefit alongside our consumer offering.
Our Employer business is still early, but we already have customers in market, a dedicated Head of Sales, and a strong point of view on where the product needs to go next.
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to help us build it.

This is a high-autonomy role for someone who loves sitting at the intersection of product, customers, and commercial teams. You'll be the primary product partner to our Head of Sales and own the Employer experience from customer feedback through shipped product.

We're an ambitious, fast-moving team backed by top-tier investors including Valar Ventures (Peter Thiel) and Atomico (Europe's #1 fund).

The Role
You'll own product for Gaia's Employer business, working closely with our Head of Sales, Head of Product, engineering, design, operations, and other teams across Gaia.

The broad direction is already taking shape. Your job is to help turn it into a product that employers love, employees actually use, and our team can scale.

You'll spend your time:

  • Staying extremely close to employers, employees, and our Sales team

  • Translating commercial needs and customer feedback into strong product decisions

  • Owning and prioritizing the Employer product roadmap

  • Designing and shipping new experiences with Engineering and Design

  • Improving implementation, enrollment, engagement, and ongoing account experience

  • Identifying where software can replace manual processes as the business grows

  • Helping us make smart tradeoffs between today's customer needs and the scalable product we want to build

This isn't a backlog-management role. We're looking for someone with enough experience and judgment to take a messy problem, figure out what actually matters, and move it forward without a lot of hand-holding.

What You'll Own
Employer Product + Experience
You'll own the core product experience for employers and their emplo from implementation and administration through ongoing engagement and reporting.
You'll work closely with Sales to understand what we're hearing in the market and distinguish between one-off customer requests and things we should build into the platform.

Employee Experience
You'll help make the fertility benefit genuinely easy for employees to understand and use.
That includes enrollment, benefit education, eligibility, care journeys, and the digital experiences employees interact with along the way.

Product × Sales Partnership
Our Head of Sales owns the commercial motion. You'll be their closest product partner.
You'll join customer conversations when useful, help shape solutions for prospects and customers, and make sure insights from the market rapidly make their way back into the product.

Scaling the Business
We're still early enough that many processes aren't fully productized yet.
You'll identify opportunities to turn manual workflows into thoughtful, scalable systems, partnering closely with Ops and Engineering along the way.

Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:

  • Has ~5–8+ years of product experience, ideally in B2B or B2B2C products

  • Has operated successfully in an early-stage or high-growth environment

  • Is comfortable working directly with Sales and customers

  • Has excellent product judgment and can operate independently

  • Can bring structure to ambiguity without adding unnecessary process

  • Thinks commercially as well as from the user's perspective

  • Is highly collaborative and low ego

  • Likes rolling up their sleeves and getting things done

  • Is curious about AI and actively uses new tools to work faster and better

Experience in healthcare, benefits, HR tech, insurance, or another complex B2B environment is a plus, but not required.
How We Work
We move fast, operate with high ownership, and care deeply about quality.
We believe great product teams combine strong judgment with fast iteration. We stay close to customers, test our assumptions, and care much more about business and user outcomes than process for process's sake.
We're also highly AI-native. We use AI throughout product development, operations, analysis, and communication and expect everyone on the team to continuously look for new leverage.

Why This Role Is Exciting

  • Own a meaningful product area while it's still early enough to shape

  • Work as a true partner to a dedicated Employer sales leader

  • Stay extremely close to customers and see your work directly affect the business

  • Work on a meaningful problem in fertility and healthcare

  • Operate with unusually high autonomy and visibility

  • Join a small, high-talent team where decisions ship quickly

  • Meaningful equity upside as Gaia grows

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $170,000–$190,000 + meaningful equity

  • Hybrid NYC work environment, with our team in the office at 387 Park Ave S (Nomad) 3 days a week

  • Comprehensive benefits

  • Fertility and egg-freezing benefits

  • Learning & development budget

If this sounds interesting, we'd love to talk.
