ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Nuclear Safety Site Liaison to join our team supporting the Hanford Site! This position is full-time and will be based out of Richland, Washington.

Responsibilities

• Provide programmatic, logistical, coordination, and analytical support for HFO interactions with the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board (DNFSB), DOE Headquarters (DOE-HQ), and other DOE oversight stakeholders.

• Facilitate interactions and support coordination among HFO, DOE-HQ, and other DOE elements on matters involving DNFSB and other oversight stakeholders to ensure interactions, deliverables, and follow-up actions are timely, accurate, and properly documented.

• Monitor oversight-related activities and advise NSD of significant issues, emerging concerns, potential sensitivities, and matters that may affect HFO programs, commitments, or stakeholder interests.

• Support NSD in its role as HFO’s point of contact with DNFSB, DOE-HQ, and other DOE oversight stakeholders, including resident inspectors, site representatives, and visiting staff.
