Position Summary

Pressman Toy Corporation is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. This position will support general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, audit preparation, and other recurring accounting responsibilities.

The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Assistant Controller and work closely with our AP and AR teams, as well as colleagues across our international organization.

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable working independently, and interested in taking ownership of assigned accounting responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, a willingness to learn new systems, and an interest in improving existing processes through technology and automation.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and other month-end adjustments.

· Perform bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations, including researching and resolving discrepancies.
