This talk will focus on the architecture of a real-time tick-by-tick market data processing system, and engineering subtleties of building a reliable system of such.

Woody Lam is a Software Developer at GSA Capital working in the Execution Services Group. His primary focus is on improving the quality of tick data processing. He joined GSA in 2025 after graduating from the University of Cambridge with a MEng in aerospace and aerothermal engineering, specialising in turbomachinery.
