Be eligible for MediCal/Medicare certification. Authorized to prescribe controlled substances.   Principle Responsibilities: The following are the essential functions of the position.  Contracted doctors are responsible for carrying out these functions: ·        Assumes psychiatric assessments/evaluations and mental status examinations (MSE’s) of patients/clients, and providing diagnosis according to the current edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) approved by
