As a Software Engineer at Hostinger, you'll collaborate with talented teammates across engineering, product, design, and other functions to build reliable, scalable, and customer-focused solutions. Whether you're developing new features, improving system performance, or contributing to architectural decisions, your work will directly shape the experience of millions of customers.

Your day-to-day
Design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure software solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused features and improvements.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Contribute to system architecture, technical design, and engineering best practices.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve application performance and reliability.
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to raise engineering standards.
Continuously improve development processes, tooling, and documentation.
Your skills and experience
Strong PHP experience and solid command of OOP principles and design patterns
Comfortable writing unit and integration tests as part of your normal workflow
Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SQL, and at least one ORM
Familiarity with message queuing (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar)
Experience with Docker and containerized environments
Understanding of microservice architecture
Meet your team
You’ll join the Email Team. The team owns Hostinger’s entire email platform end to end - inbound and outbound mail delivery, storage, spam and abuse defense, and the automation behind all of it - powering millions of client mailboxes.
You’ll work most closely with a tight-knit mix of system engineers, backend and frontend developers, and QA engineers, all building and running the same platform from different angles - infrastructure, product, and quality meeting in the same codebase. Because email underpins so much of the business, the team also works closely with Customer Support on investigating issues escalated by clients, and with Security, Network, Storage, and other infrastructure teams across Hostinger on keeping the platform safe and reliable.
