You'll take ownership of campaigns that generate leads, create sales opportunities and support business growth across our Accountancy software portfolio.
This is a hands-on role with opportunities to influence marketing activity, work with senior stakeholders and step up to provide cover for the Marketing Manager when required.
If you're a Senior Marketing Executive, Campaign Manager, Demand Generation Executive or Marketing Specialist ready for greater ownership and responsibility, we'd love to hear from you.
🧾 Why This Role Matters
Our Accountancy software helps accountants and finance professionals manage their work, meet regulatory requirements and improve efficiency.
You'll create marketing campaigns that help potential customers discover our solutions and encourage existing customers to explore other IRIS products.
Your work will directly contribute to generating qualified leads, building sales pipeline and driving business growth.
You'll have ownership of your campaigns, visibility of their performance and opportunities to influence how we approach demand generation.
👥 About the Team You'll Join
You'll join our Accountancy demand marketing team, working closely with colleagues across Marketing, Sales, Product Marketing, Operations and external agencies.
You'll manage your own campaigns, contribute ideas and collaborate with others to improve results.
You'll also provide cover for the Marketing Manager during periods of absence, helping coordinate team priorities, support colleagues and keep activity on track.
The team works remotely across the UK, with occasional travel for meetings and collaboration.
📊What You'll Be Doing
Campaign management: Plan and deliver integrated B2B marketing campaigns across email, webinars, events, digital channels, content and thought leadership.
Demand generation: Develop campaigns that attract potential customers, generate qualified leads and create sales opportunities.
End-to-end ownership: Manage campaigns from planning and audience targeting through to delivery, reporting and optimisation.
Stakeholder collaboration: Work with Sales, Product Marketing, internal teams and agencies to coordinate campaigns, agree messaging and meet deadlines.
Events and webinars: Coordinate marketing events and webinars, including promotion, content, speakers and follow-up activity.
Performance analysis: Track campaign engagement, leads, conversions, pipeline contribution and ROI, using data to recommend improvements.
Marketing Manager cover: Step up when required to coordinate priorities, support colleagues, resolve day-to-day issues and maintain campaign delivery.
Marketing improvement: Explore new approaches, including AI, automation, account-based marketing and changing digital search behaviours.
🔎What We’re Looking For
We're particularly interested in experienced B2B marketers who can independently manage campaigns, demonstrate results and confidently take on additional responsibility.
You'll bring:
B2B campaign experience: Proven experience planning and delivering marketing campaigns that generate leads and support sales pipeline.
Demand generation knowledge: Hands-on experience using channels such as email, webinars, events, digital advertising, content or landing pages.
Campaign ownership: Experience managing campaigns from initial brief through to launch, reporting and improvement.
Performance reporting: Confidence analysing campaign results, understanding what works and making recommendations using data.
Stakeholder management: Experience working with Sales, Product Marketing, senior stakeholders and external agencies.
Organisation and prioritisation: The ability to manage multiple campaigns, competing deadlines and changing priorities.
Independence and leadership potential: Confidence making decisions, influencing others and stepping up for the Marketing Manager when required.
Communication and attention to detail: The ability to create clear briefs, review campaign content and communicate effectively.
Experience in SaaS, software, professional services, financial services or accountancy would be beneficial, but isn't essential.
Previous line management experience isn't required. What matters is your ability to take ownership, coordinate activity and support others when needed.
