Senior Development Manager - Communications

About The Role

Hi, I'm Trevor, co-founder and co-CEO at Jane. I've been building Jane for about 14 years, ever since Ali and I started solving problems for her clinic in North Vancouver, and I still spend my days closest to product and engineering. Fair warning: I'm the last person in the world to give you an elevator pitch - I'd much rather talk about the problems we're solving. The Communications group owns every conversation between clinics and their patients: appointment texts, secure messaging, email, fax and other channels.

You'll lead a group of about 15 engineers and 3 engineering managers, partner in a triad with Product and Design, and spend a lot of your time on genuinely new things - this group is building products from the ground up, not just maintaining mature ones. What makes this role special is that communication is where Jane's mission gets tangible: when a patient gets the right message at the right moment, they show up, they get care, and the clinic thrives.
