Craftsman Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul (MRO) Quality Inspector Technician

Job Description
- Perform receiving, in-process, final, and return-to-service inspections on military aircraft parts, aerospace components, ground support equipment, and related defense systems undergoing maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO), modification, or refurbishment
- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, technical data, military specifications, engineering drawings, and quality management system requirements
- Serve as an independent verification authority to ensure all maintenance and repair activities meet airworthiness, mission readiness, and customer quality standards
- Review shop Travelers for accuracy and completeness
- Experience in working with aerospace specifications and drawings
- Conduct In-Process, and Final inspections
- Conduct First Article Inspections using AS9102 Forms and documentation
- Conduct Receiving inspection/verification of product and relating certifications
- Review certification documents and records required to create a Certificate of Conformance
- Create end item data packets such as Certificates of Conformance, Indented Parts List and Configuration summary for internal and external inspections
- Complete customer Source Inspections for detail parts and assemblies
- Interface with program engineering and customers on Material Review Board issues
- Verify and control non-conforming product and the Material Review Board (MRB) process
