Your Opportunity
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Associate Director or Director to join our Brisbane Valuation Services team.
This role is ideal for a valuation professional with strong technical capability and a passion for leading client engagements, developing teams, and contributing to business growth. You will play a key leadership role in delivering complex valuation assignments, building trusted client relationships, and helping shape the future direction of the practice.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex valuation engagements from proposal through to delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes and strong client service.
- Build trusted client relationships and identify opportunities to expand service offerings.
- Drive business development activities, including proposals, pitches, and market-facing initiatives.
- Assess business performance, key value drivers, and valuation metrics across companies, assets, and transactions.
- Prepare and review valuation reports, clearly communicating methodologies, assumptions, and commercial insights.
- Build, review, and challenge complex financial models, applying appropriate valuation methodologies across businesses, assets, and intangible assets.
- Apply critical thinking and data-driven analysis to solve complex valuation and modelling challenges.
- Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members while managing multiple engagements and collaborating across Deal Advisory.

Your Experience

- Extensive experience in business valuations within a corporate advisory, professional services, investment banking, corporate finance, infrastructure, superannuation, investment management, or in-house corporate environment.
- Strong technical expertise across business valuations, including experience with income, market, and cost-based valuation approaches.
- Strong financial modelling and Excel-based analytical skills, with experience building, reviewing, and challenging complex models.
- Excellent report-writing abilities, with the capability to distil complex analysis into meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Proven experience managing multiple engagements and delivering projects to a high standard.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing team members.
Qualifications
- A relevant degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualifications such as CA, CFA, or equivalent are highly regarded.
