Brand Protection Attorney
About the Role
Lola Blankets is a fast-growing comfort and lifestyle brand on a mission to make the world a cozier place. We are seeking a Brand Protection Attorney to safeguard Lola's brand, intellectual property, and commercial relationships as we scale.
As Lola Blankets grows, so does our exposure — from copycat competitors and unauthorized use of our brand likeness to an expanding footprint of partnerships and influencer relationships that all need sound legal structure. This role sits inside Marketing, working day-to-day with the Brand team while partnering closely with Legal and Finance on anything that needs their sign-off. You'll be the first line of defense on brand and IP issues and a hands-on partner to Marketing on the contracts and relationships that carry legal risk.
Core Responsibilities
Brand & IP Enforcement
- Identify and respond to trademark infringement, counterfeit activity, and unauthorized use of Lola's brand or likeness, including drafting and sending cease-and-desist letters, in conjunction with the General Counsel
- Review marketing, advertising, and promotional content for legal and regulatory compliance
- Monitor competitor activity for copycat campaigns or infring
