POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician II will be responsible for preventative maintenance and repairs on machinery and acting as a liaison with vendors. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) faults, including basic VFD replacement and high- and low-voltage troubleshooting.
- Demonstrating a working knowledge of PLC operation and the ability to explain how PLCs interact with equipment and controls.
- Troubleshooting, installing, and repairing single-phase and three-phase electrical systems ranging from 120V to 480V, including outlets, lighting, switches, and related components.
- Safely identify electrical voltages using a multimeter and understand the differences between single-phase and three-phase systems.
- Troubleshooting and installing 24V
