FINISH MACHINIST (Manual Lathe)
Pay is commensurate with skill/experience. Range is $27 to $30 per hour for appropriate skill and experience. 2nd Shift Opportunities with a 2nd Shift Differential of an additional $3 per hour.
Perform finish turning operations to final dimensions as specified on engineering drawings.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Perform finish turning, drilling and tapping to final dimensions as specified on engineering drawings and standard procedures.
- Set up lathe as required to perform individual finish operations.
- Maintain all oil levels and lubricate machine daily; inform supervisor of any equipment defects.
- Set correct feeds and speeds as required for drilling, turning and tapping of different types of material.
