Job Description

Mitratech Catalyst is an AI-native product incubator. We take ambiguous, high-value problems from across our Legal, Risk, Compliance, and HR business units, turn them into sellable products in 12 weeks, then hand them back to the business to operate and grow. We work in small pods of product managers and engineers supercharged by direct, frequent input from domain experts and customers to define the problem, iterate on a solution, launch a product the business can support. Then, we're on to the next one.

We are redefining how software gets built at Mitratech. Nobody has the finished playbook, including us. We run experiments, learn fast, keep what works, and write down what we learned so the next cycle starts stronger.

If this is the kind of problem you want to work on, we'd like to meet you.

About Mitratech

At Mitratech, we are a team of innovators focused on building world-class products that simplify operations in the Legal, Risk, Compliance, and HR functions. Job Overview

As a Senior Product Manager on Catalyst, you will be continuously launching new products. You will own the definition, iteration, and delivery of an ambiguous problem with direct access to domain experts and customers. You will work in a pod with AI-native engineers, partner day to day with Catalyst's Head of Product, and report to the Director of Catalyst. This is a high-ownership, high-autonomy role: you decide what matters most, keep the team moving under a fixed deadline, and are accountable for outcomes that hold up with real customers and skeptical business leaders. You will spend as much time with design partners, sales, and business-unit stakeholders as you do with engineering.

We are looking for a product manager with commercial and program instincts as much as product craft—someone who is comfortable being customer-facing, who can run a disciplined process in the middle of ambiguity, and who wants to ship.

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • Real Autonomy - You own the product. You will not wait for a perfect spec or a committee decision; you will make the call, document it, and move.
  • AI-Native, everywhere - Catalyst engineers build with AI-augmented workflows at high velocity, and product managers work the same way—using AI tools for research synthesis, drafting, prototyping, and review. You will help define what AI-native product management looks like for the rest of Mitratech.
  • Fixed Clocks, Visible Outcomes - Every build has a start, a week-four demo, and an end. You will see products go from an idea to customers in a single quarter, and you will start the next one knowing exactly what you shipped.
  • Breadth Across the Portfolio - Successive cycles span HR, Legal, Risk, and Compliance domains. You will learn new problem spaces fast and build a track record across the company, not a single product line.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Own a product end to end. Take an incubator product from brief through minimum sellable product, early go-to-market, and be the named owner of every product decision along the way so hand-off is clean and nothing is orphaned.
  • Drive early go-to-market. Recruit and manage design partners, define rules of engagement that sales can act on, gather and prioritize customer feedback, and stay directly in contact with customers throughout.
  • Maintain product discipline through pivots. Keep the product brief, staged roadmap, and incremental PRDs current and decision-ready as the problem, scope, and customer evidence change—crisp documents, not walls of text.
  • Run the pod. Work daily with engineers to convert discovery into shipped scope, review engineering output with product taste at high velocity, and close the gap between plan and delivery.
  • Make the demo count. Treat early demos as a forcing function for real progress, and hold the bar of minimum sellable product over feature theater.
  • Partner with receiving business units. Build alignment with business-unit leaders, secure a clear owner for hand-off, and represent the product credibly with senior stakeholders.
  • Rotate into the next cycle. At the end of a build, move onto the next incubator product—scrutinizing the brief, locking a staged roadmap, and kicking off with business-unit partners—rather than settling in as a long-term feature owner.
  • Help Catalyst scale. Contribute to the playbooks, templates, and working norms that let Catalyst run concurrent pods without adding hierarchy.

Requirements & Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, or sales/customer-success-to-product roles with demonstrated ownership of complex B2B software outcomes. We weight shipped results over title history.
  • Proven ability to own an ambiguous problem under a fixed deadline and drive it to a customer-facing outcome.
  • Working fluency with generative AI and large language model product concepts, and excitement about partnering with AI-native engineers.
  • Commercial instincts: comfort being visible with customers, design partners, and senior business stakeholders, and experience with alpha, beta, or early-revenue launches.
  • Strong process discipline in ambiguous environments—you bring structure without slowing the team down.
  • Ability to learn unfamiliar domains quickly (HR, legal, risk, or compliance experience is helpful; speed of learning is required).
  • Excellent written communication; low ego; high ownership; eager to learn Catalyst's craft and to teach what you know.

Nice to Have

  • Background in sales, customer success, or program management before moving into product.
  • Experience in PE-backed, multi-product, M&A-active, or startup environments.
  • Enterprise B2B SaaS experience in HR technology, legal, or other regulated functions.
  • Familiarity with Notion, Linear, and GitHub-based workflows.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
