We are looking for an experienced Head of Accounting & Tax to lead our financial reporting, audit, tax and consolidation functions. Working as a peer alongside the Head of Treasury and Head of Corporate Finance, you will manage our global accounting across MODIFI’s various group companies. You will manage an internal team as well as our external service providers for bookkeeping, accounting and tax as well as our audit partners.
This role is based in Amsterdam or Berlin (if based in Amsterdam, onboarding will be in Berlin). You will report directly to the CEO.
Role & Responsibilities
- Hands-On Group Accounting & IFRS Consolidation: Own the end-to-end execution, preparation, and closing of standalone and consolidated financial statements under IFRS across all MODIFI subsidiaries and a refinance-SPV in Luxemburg with precision.
- Audit & External Service Management: Drive our group-wide external audits and actively manage local accounting and tax service providers in the Netherlands, Germany, Luxemburg, India, China and UAE.
