What is Specialist RAN Operations?

The Specialist RAN Operations is a key technical position responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and stability of the Radio Access Network. This role provides 24x7 back-office operational support to field teams, addressing issues at both the site and controller levels. The incumbent will be accountable for executing end-to-end configuration changes across the RAN domain to maintain seamless network functionality and service quality. The position reports directly to the Manager RAN Operations.

What does Specialist RAN Operations do?

·       Parameter configuration & Tuning (BSC, BTS, Cell & TRX) in Huawei/ZTE network.

·       BSC & BTS rehoming, SGSN shifting & addition, software, patch & license upgrades.

·       New site creation, hard expansion, soft expansion & dual carrier configuration.

·       Junk DB deletion in EMS .

·       Network blocking as per the directives of PTA.

·       Alarm standardization in network.</
