Now, we are looking for an IT System Administrator to join our Office IT team at our central Leipzig office, in the heart of a buzzing city. This is a full-time role, and we are open to flexible arrangements. You will work closely with our IT Service Manager and our IT Security Coordinator to keep PRISMA's internal IT systems running smoothly and securely.

 

What You'll Do

• Configure and maintain our patch management system for macOS, Windows and Linux systems

• Administer user accounts across their whole lifecycle, from onboarding and offboarding to permission management

• Manage access and permissions across our systems

• Manage IT devices and software over their whole lifecycle, from procurement to decommissioning

• Provide first- and second-level support to your colleagues

• Support the management of our IT service providers

 

What We Expect

We welcome applications from candidates with varying levels of experience. In general, we mostly expect you to have:

• Bachelor of Informatics, IT, Business Informatics or similar, or an apprenticeship

• 2+ years of professional experience in system administration or a similar IT role

• Hands-on experience administering macOS, Windows and Linux, including configuration and patch management

• Solid experience with user, access and permission management

• Experience with IT asset management for devices and software

• Experience providing first- and second-level support

• Experience with network configuration and management

• Fluent in written and spoken English and German at least at B2 level

Nice to have:

• Experience with

  • Using AWS independently

  • Azure services like Entra ID, Power Automate and O365

  • WireGuard- or Tailscale-based VPNs

  • Grafana Cloud or OpenTelemetry

  • Atlassian administration

  • ISMS and BCMS
