TOOL CRIB ATTENDANT
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive, store and issue hand tools, replacement tools, shop supplies and equipment
- Keep record of tools issued to and returned by workers
- Search for lost or misplaced tools and notify supervision as required
- Prepare inventory and requisition stock as needed
- Unpack and store new equipment
- Visually inspect tools for wear and defects, and order replacement tools as necessary
- Attach identification tags or engrave identifying information on tools and equipment as needed
- Assist repair cycle specialist in maintaining inventories on parts, tools and equipment
- Assist management team with the ordering of tools, parts, and equipment within the control of the tool room facility
- Handle and dispose of hazardous materials
- Maintain technical order files, e-tools, bench stock,
