Maintenance Planning Manager

Position Overview

The Maintenance Planning Manager is responsible for developing, leading, and managing all plant/facility maintenance strategies (Preventive, Predictive, and Corrective). Working in direct collaboration with the Executive Director, this role ensures all maintenance master plans are strategically aligned, approved, flawlessly executed, and evaluated to minimize equipment downtime, optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and maintain cost-effective operations.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions

Strategic Planning & Executive Alignment (Core Focus):

Partner directly with the Executive Director to present, refine, and secure approval for the annual maintenance strategy, capital expenditure (CapEx) proposals, and operational budgets.

Establish clear alignment with executive leadership on plant availability goals, production targets, and critical asset priorities.

Plan Execution & Operational Management:

Lead the full deployment of approved maintenance schedules (weekly, monthly, annual, and major turnarounds/overhauls).

Oversee and manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS / SAP PM / Maximo) to structure work orders, backlog management, and asset histories.

Direct maintenance engineers, planners, and contractor teams to ensure on-time, high-quality, and safe execution of all scheduled work orders.
