Job Description

The role

We're looking for ambitious marketers early in their careers to join Stelia's marketing team on a 6-month internship. There is the potential for this to progress into a permanent role for the right person.

Working directly with our Head of Marketing you'll get hands-on experience across the full marketing function in a fast-moving B2B AI company. You'll work across product launches, content, PR, events, partnerships, campaigns, and go-to-market projects - learning quickly and taking on more ownership as you develop.

This is a chance to build broad, hands-on marketing experience from the beginning of your career. The aim is for your responsibility to grow with your experience. As you progress, you'll take ownership of projects and build deeper expertise in the areas of marketing where you show the greatest strengths and interest.

The Details
Role: Marketing Intern
Team: Marketing
Salary: £28,000 per year (pro-rata)
Duration: 6 months
Location: Hybrid, with 3 days working from our office based in Waterloo

What you'll do

No two weeks are likely to look exactly the same, but your work will include:
  • Supporting product and partnership launches, helping to turn new developments into campaigns and stories that resonate with our audience.
  • Getting to know our markets and audiences, researching different industries, companies and personas to understand what matters to them and how we can speak to them.
  • Creating and distributing content across multiple channels, adapting ideas for different platforms, formats, and audiences, and supporting both organic and paid campaigns.
  • Supporting our PR activity, working alongside the Head of Marketing and an external PR agency to identify stories, develop angles, support launches, and build Stelia's market presence.
  • Measuring marketing performance, helping track how our content, campaigns, and channels perform and using those insights to inform what we do next.
  • Helping deliver events and partner activity, from planning and logistics through to promotion, content, workshops, and post-event campaigns.
  • Keeping on top of market trends, including industry conversations, emerging trends, and great marketing that we can learn from.
  • Working closely with teams across Stelia, such as Product, Sales, and Engineering, to understand complex ideas and help turn them into clear, compelling messaging, content and marketing materials.

Who we're looking for

We don't expect you to arrive knowing how to do all of the above. We're much more interested in how you think, learn, and work than the amount of marketing experience you already have.

We are looking for people with the potential to develop into exceptional marketers - and we'll give you the exposure, responsibility and support to help you get there.

You will be someone who:
  • Is naturally curious and enjoys getting their head around unfamiliar topics.
  • Takes initiative and is comfortable identifying and progressing next steps independently.
  • Brings innovative ideas to the table and is confident sharing them.
  • Learns quickly, actively seeks feedback, and applies it.
  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly.
  • Is execution-focused, and follows tasks through to completion.
  • Is organised and reliable, with strong attention to detail.
  • Is commercially curious and wants to understand the business objectives behind their work.
  • Has a genuine interest in technology and AI and how they are changing the way businesses, and marketing teams, operate.
  • Is comfortable in an environment where things move quickly and priorities can change.

The hiring process

Apply with your CV and a cover letter. We read every one.

Your CV tells us where you’ve been. Your letter tells us where you want to go, and that’s the part we care about most. In no more than a page, tell us:
  1. Why Stelia. What draws you to a team building frontier AI from the infrastructure up, and pointing it at outcomes that matter?
  2. Why marketing. What is it about telling stories, shaping ideas or building an audience that pulls you in? Is there a campaign, brand or piece of writing you can’t stop thinking about?
  3. What you’d bring. It doesn’t have to be work experience. A project, a side hustle or a strong point of view all count.
If your application is successful, we'll have a screening call with you first to get to know you a little more. Following that, we'll invite you to a more in-depth interview with our Head of Marketing.
