We want everyone to work better – but we also want to be a tech company with a heart. Join us as we continuously innovate our award-winning products, create new solutions, and help the world work smarter, not harder.

About the role

We’re building competitive and market intelligence into a new strategic portfolio management platform at Tempo — the capability that connects what’s happening in the market to how organizations plan, prioritize, and invest. The direction is set and the early product thinking is done. What we need now is a product manager to own this capability and get it into customers’ hands.

This is a hands-on product management role with genuine ownership and a short path from decision to shipped work. You’ll own the roadmap and the outcomes, work day to day with design and engineering, decide what makes the first release and what waits, and partner with go-to-market on how the capability is positioned, packaged, and sold. We’re looking for someone who ships — who would rather get a narrow version in front of customers soon and learn from it than wait on a complete one. Domain experience in competitive intelligence, market analytics, or revenue data is a real advantage here, but the core of this job is product management.

What you’ll do

  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for competitive intelligence and market analytics within our strategic portfolio management platform.

  • Define the first release and sequence what follows — making clear calls on scope so the capability reaches customers quickly, then improving it with what you learn.

  • Work day to day with design and engineering: write the requirements, break work into releasable pieces, make the tradeoffs, and keep decisions moving.

  • Set and own the success measures for the capability — adoption, engagement, and commercial contribution — and hold the roadmap to them.

  • Partner with product marketing, sales, and revenue teams on commercialization: positioning, packaging, pricing input, launch readiness, and enablement.

  • Run continuous discovery with customers and prospects — senior leaders across strategy, marketing, sales, and competitive intelligence functions — and turn what you hear into prioritized product decisions.

  • Shape how the product ingests and structures market and competitive intelligence: analyst feeds, competitor tracking, pricing movements, and win/loss patterns from CRM.

  • Partner with AI and engineering teams to turn raw market signals into structured, decision-ready intelligence that customers trust.

Who you are

What you’ll need

  • 5+ years in product management, with a track record of shipping B2B or enterprise software that customers adopted and paid for.

  • Experience taking a product or major capability from early concept through launch — and staying with it through the releases that followed.

  • A bias to action: you make decisions with incomplete information, ship in increments, and are comfortable narrowing scope to meet a date.

  • Fluency working with design and engineering as a peer — clear requirements, sensible sequencing, and scope calls you can make and defend yourself.

  • Commercial instincts. You treat pricing, packaging, and revenue as part of the product, and you work well with sales and marketing counterparts on launch and adoption.

  • The ability to work from a customer problem to a shipped solution without needing the problem fully defined for you first.

  • Comfort using AI tools to accelerate your own work — synthesizing research, drafting analysis, prototyping concepts — and experience shipping AI-powered features alongside engineering partners.

  • Strong written communication; you can write a crisp one-pager that earns alignment without a meeting.

Nice to have

  • Background in competitive intelligence, market analysis, product marketing, sales strategy, or enterprise BI — or experience building products for those users.

  • Experience working with CRM platforms (for example, Salesforce, HubSpot) as data sources: what win/loss data looks like in practice, why it is often messy, and how to make it useful anyway.

  • Familiarity with competitive intelligence platforms (for example, Crayon, Klue, Kompyte) and analyst ecosystems (Gartner, Forrester, IDC).

  • Working knowledge of CPQ systems and how deal configuration data reflects market dynamics.

  • Experience designing for executive audiences — you know the difference between a view a leader opens every morning and one that gets bookmarked and forgotten.

Why Join Tempo?

  • Ownership: End-to-end ownership of a new capability — roadmap through launch — with a short path from decision to shipped work.

  • Impact: Work on meaningful products that empower enterprise users and improve productivity.

  • Innovation: Be part of a culture that values creativity and innovation, with opportunities to make a real impact.

  • Collaboration: Join a supportive, collaborative team that values openness, communication, and a continuous learning environment.
