Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Security

Your Role:

• Design and develop complex, scalable, and high-performance features and systems within your team, ensuring clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and fellow engineers to help shape technical approaches and project plans for your team’s roadmap.
• Provide technical input and recommendations to ensure solutions align with business objectives, compliance standards, and long-term maintainability, escalating cross-team architectural questions to staff/principal engineers as needed.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues within your team’s systems, driving root cause analysis and fixes, and escalating the most critical, cross-system issues appropriately.
• Mentor engineers through code review, pairing, and day-to-day guidance, helping raise the quality bar within the team.
• Review team members’ code with a focus on improving design and implementation quality.

Your Opportunity:

• Develop and maintain key components and features, integrating new functionality and helping maintain the reliability and scalability of core infrastructure.
• Contribute to the evolution of software applications, database integration, interfaces, and system enhancements to meet business needs.
• Support automation, testing, and continuous deployment processes to ensure smooth and reliable delivery of new features.
• Own well-scoped projects from design through delivery, contributing ideas to design decisions and technical direction within your team.

What You'll Need:

• BSc in Computer Science or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution, or an exceptional track record in server-side development with advanced technical expertise.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a proven ability to solve complex problems and deliver reliably within a team.
• Deep expertise in one or more programming languages such as C/C++, C#, Java, Go, Python, with an ability to adapt to new technologies as needed.
• Solid experience building scalable systems, with a strong understanding of microservices architecture, API design, and cloud-native development.
• Experience designing and deploying services on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong technical skills, with experience reviewing code, mentoring less experienced engineers day-to-day, and contributing to technical decisions within the team.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver reliably under tight deadlines.
