Requirements

Tesla Laboratories is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support Design Technical Support (DTS) services for the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Northwest (NAVFAC NW), Planning Design and Construction Directorate, Design Division (PDC4). This position supports the existing NAVFAC workforce and provides increased capability for Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build projects and associated efforts undertaken by NAVFAC Northwest customers within the NAVFAC Northwest Area of Responsibility (Puget Sound area).

Perform facilities electrical engineering design tasks, including:

Design calculations to size electrical services, service transformers, and secondary power distribution systems.

Calculations to size overcurrent devices, disconnect switches, branch circuits, and feeders.

Lighting calculations, lighting layouts, and specifying of light fixtures.

Develop drawings using AutoCAD and edit product specifications; well
