Delegated Underwriting Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analysis on individual accounts and overall portfolio to track metrics throughout the year (rate/deductible/risk profile/region etc)
• Work with Exposure Management to peer review output/exposures.
• Assist with data input for Exposure Management, gathering bordereaux from brokers/portals if needed. Help manage workflow to ensure regular updates of all accounts.
• Creating and collaborating with Underwriters to complete pricing tools. 
• Manage premium monitoring process - prepare for monthly/quarterly meetings using MI from dashboard.
• Manage Contract Performance monitoring using MI from dashboard. 
• Verify bordereaux to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and limitations.
• Create and improve Regional loss scenarios across the Binder portfolio. 
• Manage and assist with DU process, collecting all relevant info, answering queries. For lead accounts filling out basic info on forms.

Skills & Knowledge

• Proven experience in an administrative or underwriting support role, preferably in the property sector.
• Strong proficiency in data management and analysis, including working with Excel, Power BI, and underwriting software.
• High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to quickly identify and correct errors.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
